We have had a good response to this new event but there are still tickets available. We have received interest from members but this has not been followed up by an application to attend. It may be that members feel obliged to come forward with a readymade team of 8 but this is not necessary as we will join members and their guests up with others to make teams of 8. In fact teams can be less than 8 but no more as this makes, even a fun competition, unfair. We would not recommend teams to be less than four however.
At around 8.15pm a buffet style meal will be served comprising: Traditional Steak and Mushroom pudding followed by Fruit and Sherry Trifle followed by coffee.
After dinner the quiz will continue with a finishing time somewhere around 11.00pm. I have attended the RAC Quiz nights’ run by Graham and they really are good fun. He can adjust the level of difficulty and I will suggest a median standard so that everyone can join in and have a fulfilling evening. We may even have a few political questions so that the aficionados can show off!
The price for the evening including half a bottle of wine per person, prizes and Graham’s Fee will be £35 per person.
